There’s a lot of debate going on about whether or not egg yolks have health benefits. Fortunately, yes, they do. Egg yolks are rich in choline, which benefits brain function, reduces inflammation and is associated with increasing happiness. Egg yolks also contain carotenoids which prevent vision loss. However, even with these benefits, Mayo Clinic recommends that adults should have no more than four eggs per week.
Many recipes only call for egg whites. We’re not ones to enjoy wasting food, so we’ve developed a list of recipes that use egg yolks as an ingredient. Enjoy!
