Cabbage Cassrole


Ingredients

1 head of cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion chopped
1 lb. smoked sausage
1/2 Bell Pepper
1/2 lb Ham chopped
1 clove Garlic
1-1/2 cups of raw rice

Instructions

Sauté ground beef and onions, bell peppers, garlic and season with salt and pepper or Creole seasoning and cook until tender. Add sausage, and rice. Stir together. Line bottom of pan with outside leaves of cabbage. Chop or shred cabbage. Layer meat mixture and shredded cabbage alternately ending with cabbage. Mix 1/2 cup Catsup, 1 cup barbeque sauce with about 3 cups of water and pour over top layer. Cover and cook at 350 degrees for about an hour or until cabbage and rice is cooked. Allow to set 15 minutes before serving.
