LINDA'S TURKEY CHILIUser Submitted Recipe
1 pkg. French's Chili Mix. (only French’s )
3 lbs or more ground turkey & turkey sausage mixed.
1 large onion chopped.
1 pepper (red, yellow or green)
1 28 oz. can of whole tomatoes - cut up.
1 small can of tomato paste.
1 28 oz. can of pinto beans - drained
2 28 oz cans of kidney beans. partially drain and reserve juice. ( Use if Chili is to dry)
1 28 oz can Hunts Chili Beans
2 cloves of garlic.
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce.
Tobasco sauce to taste.
Season turkey mixture with salt, pepper and Emeril’s Essence to taste and combine. Sauté onion, garlic & pepper in a dash of oil for a few minutes, Remove & reserve. Add Turkey, sauté until cooked. Add Chili mix (diluted in juice from chili beans). Add all other ingredients include reserved onions. Simmer for approx. 1 hour.
