3 Reception Ideas for the Guys
August 29, 2014 • Posted by Brea Buffaloe

A lot of the time, most of the details of a wedding are surrounded around the bride. Everything from the decorations to the cake has a feminine flair. Let’s stray away from the traditional. We have some ideas that are sure to be a hit with the groom, and a happy groom makes a happy bride.

One of the easiest way to let the husband-to-be's personality shine is to have a groom’s cake. This is the perfect way to get him involved and get creative. We’ve seen cakes in the shape of footballs, lounge chairs, cartoon characters and more. This is also a great option if it’s difficult to come to a single cake flavor decision you both would love.

Food bars have been a big hit at modern weddings. Impress your guests, especially the men, with a beer bar. Choose your groom’s favorite local brews and allow guests to taste test or grab a bottle!

Another idea is to add casino tables throughout your party area. It will not only be lots of fun to play poker, blackjack and more but it’s also a great way to break the ice between guests that aren’t too familiar with each other. We guarantee there won’t be a dull moment.

How are you planning to highlight your groom’s personality in the wedding?
