Grilling has long been associated with social gatherings like picnics and barbecues, but according to The NPD Group, the most common use of the grill is for family dinners.  By allowing home cooks to prepare such a wide variety of foods, the grill is a perfect way to satisfy anyone’s tastes and is certain to gather the entire family around the dinner table for great food and invaluable quality time.

The Cuisinart Griddler® (model no. GR-4N) not only makes grilling quick, easy and delicious; it allows consumers to enjoy a plethora of grilled foods all year long as well.  The Griddler® has five separate cooking options, giving home cooks the ability to prepare everything from pancakes, sausages and grilled cheese to steaks, hamburgers and Panini.

Versatility:

A floating hinged cover adjusts to the thickness of the foods being cooked and a set of       dishwasher-safe reversible grill/griddle plates snap in and out easily and turn the Griddler® into a Contact Grill, a Panini Press, a double wide Grill and Griddle, or a Half Grill/Half Griddle.  The unit also has a selector knob that lets home cooks easily choose between the grill or griddle function, each of which has its own adjustable temperature control to ensure optimal cooking.  When set to Grill/Panini, the Griddler® can be adjusted from “warm” to “sear”, and when in Griddle mode, can be set anywhere from 200˚F to 425˚F.

Cuisinart’s Griddler® is not only versatile; it’s extremely fast as well.  The unit makes it possible for consumers to prepare and serve a home cooked meal in less than 15 minutes, including cleanup.  The Griddler’s plates are also designed to drain grease while cooking to provide healthier meals and an integrated dishwasher-safe drip tray collects cooking fats so cleanup is as simple as removing it from the Griddler®.  In addition, the reversible grill and griddle cooking plates are dishwasher-safe, as is the scraping tool, which is included with the product.

Cuisinart’s Griddler® is constructed with a sophisticated brushed stainless-steel housing and integrated red and green indicator lights that notify home cooks when the unit is powered on and ready to cook.  The Griddler® joins a variety of other high-performance products in Cuisinart’s signature indoor grilling line, which encompasses everything from a Panini & Sandwich Press to the Griddler® Combo to the new Griddler® Grill Centro that allows home cooks to grill or griddle food on its top tier while simultaneously cooking kebabs or hot dogs on the bottom tier.
