CUISINART IS BRINGING TO THE TABLE. .
.
PowerEdge 700™ Blender
Food for Thought:
Cuisinart Brings Professional Quality and Power to Home
Kitchens
This
year marks a major return to home cooking and entertaining, and whether preparing
hearty soups or chowders, cocktails or nutritious smoothies, a good blender is
a necessity for any home cook. In an
effort to retain some of the experience of dining out while at home, consumers
are increasingly interested in new product features that can accommodate
nuances in individual tastes. By
bringing personalization to the kitchen, home cooks can invoke a semblance of
dining out while remaining practical.
As consumers continue to focus on
customization, blenders and other kitchen appliances that provide features to
meet this need are in growing demand. Cuisinart's
PowerEdge™ 700 Blender (model no. CBT-700) is the company's
most powerful model to date, with 700 watts of power and pre-programmed Smoothie
and Ice Crush functions that cater to a full range of culinary preferences. The exclusive new Power6 TurboEdge™ blade
design also enhances vortex performance to ensure professional results.
What to Look for When Purchasing a Blender:
Performance:
Cuisinart's PowerEdge™
700 Blender has numerous features that give home cooks the freedom to customize
food and beverages easily in the comfort of their own kitchen. This workhorse is the ideal combination of
power and performance with four pre-programmed settings: Smoothie, Purée, Soups
& Sauces, and Ice Crush, as well as the traditional Low, High and Pulse
blending speeds. Whether preparing smoothies or salsa, ingredients are blended
to the desired texture. In addition, the
generously sized, easy-pour 56-ounce blender jar is ideally suited for large
crowds.
Design:
One
of the cornerstones of the PowerEdge™ 700 Blender is the company's new Power6 TurboEdge™
blade design that enhances vortex performance for consistent blending, regardless
of food or beverage type. This superior
vortex performance occurs as the unit's blades, jar and motor work
synergistically to overcome cavitation (an empty pocket that can form within a
blender jar during the blending process).
Additionally, the unit consists of a sleek, professional-looking design
and a die-cast metal housing that adds sophistication to any countertop.
Convenience:
Cuisinart's new
blender offers a myriad of convenience features, including a built-in Count-Up™
Timer to allow for perfect timing with each use. The Count-Up ™ Timer works with the unit's
pre-programmed controls to flawlessly blend anything from smoothies to vinaigrettes. The blender also has a standby mode during
which the unit is turned on but no speed has been selected. This allows consumers to change speeds during
the blending process without pressing the On/Off button. In addition, the pre-programmed controls and
blending speeds have touchpad control buttons with backlit functions for easy
and accurate use, and the easy-pour lid and blender jar are dishwasher safe.
