A built-in safety interlock prevents operation unless the lid is securely in place. The lid is also designed to seal in all the finely ground spices and ensure the flavor is preserved.

To help consumers get maximum use out of their Spice and Nut Grinder, the unit comes with a recipe book with inspiring creations for virtually any palette. Consumers can grind nuts and spices to prepare a variety of dishes, from pistachio crusted rack of lamb to spiced pecan pie crust.

 

Cuisinart's grinder bowl holds up to 3.2 ounces of spices or nuts. The maximum capacity for spices and nuts is one-half cup each. For added convenience, the storage lid is designed to store extra spices in the grinding bowl until they are needed for a second recipe.

 

The Spice and Nut Grinder is convenient to use as well as to maintain. The storage lid is dishwasher safe and the stainless steel bowl is removable for easy cleaning.
