Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew
Thermal™ 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker (model
no. DGB-900BC) and the Fully
Automatic Burr Grind & Brew™ 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker (model no. DGB-700BC) are 24-hour fully
programmable units designed with a burr grinder to produce an optimum coffee
flavor in every cup.

Taste:
Cuisinart’s
latest coffeemakers are designed with the signature benefits of the Grind &
Brew™ line – grinding whole beans just before brewing to ensure the freshest, most
flavorful cup of coffee. The products also feature other innovations that elevate
the coffee drinking experience – a burr grinder, as well as a ½-pound bean
hopper with a sealed lid to prevent air or moisture from degrading the beans. The special burr grinder is able to grind
coffee without depleting the integrity of the bean, so the true flavor is
maintained. The size of the grind is the key to the taste of a great cup of
coffee. Cuisinart’s burr grinder is designed with plates that consistently and
uniformly grind whole coffee beans to preserve delicate natural oils,
maximizing flavor and aroma.
Customized
Features:
Cuisinart’s
new Grind & Brew™ coffeemakers offer consumers a grind control function to automatically
adjust the amount of coffee that is ground, depending on the quantity of cups they
wish to brew – from 2 to 12 cups. In addition, a two- to four-cup feature is
integrated into both units, giving consumers the option to brew smaller amounts
of coffee to the same exacting standards as when they brew full pots. Other
customized features include a strength selector, which allows consumers to brew
a strong, medium or mild pot of coffee, and the Brew Pause™ function that lets
consumers enjoy a cup of coffee before brewing is finished. The coffeemakers
automatically shut off after brewing.
Convenience:
The
Fully Automatic Burr Grind & Brew Thermal™ 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker has
a double-wall insulated thermal carafe, designed to maintain coffee at the
recommended serving temperature after it has been brewed. The Fully Automatic
Burr Grind & Brew™ 12-Cup Automatic Coffeemaker has a glass carafe. Both
coffeemakers come with a gold tone commercial style permanent filter and a
charcoal water filter that removes impurities from the water and enhances the
flavor of the coffee.
Design:
Cuisinart’s
new coffeemakers feature a brushed chrome housing with black accents,
reflecting the industrial look of today’s modern kitchens.
