CUISINART EXPANDS CHEF'S CLASSIC™ COOKWARE COLLECTION
STAMFORD, CT - June 2003 Cuisinart, a leading producer of kitchen electrics and professional quality cookware, has added three new products to its Chef's Classic™ Cookware line, offering consumers commercial quality performance and convenience features in one versatile collection. The three new products feature the distinctive Excalibur® nonstick surface and include an 8-inch skillet, a 10-inch skillet and 12-inch skillet. Excalibur® is actually an integral part of the cooking surface and combines the strength of stainless steel with the release elements of nonstick.
Cuisinart first introduced its Chef's Classic™ line in January 2003 with a complete line of stainless steel cookware, featuring an 18/10 exterior mirror finish and 18/10 stainless steel interior. The Chef's Classic™ Collection is endorsed by internationally renowned French Chef Paul Bocuse. Chef Bocuse is a legendary culinary personality and winner of the coveted Michelin 3-Star rating for over 36 consecutive years.
Mary Rodgers, Director of Marketing Communications for Cuisinart and Waring, says, "Cuisinart's Chef's Classic™ Cookware meets the needs of consumers on several fronts, from its classic design to wide range of convenience features. Many home chefs aspire to create healthier meals and at the same time, they have less free time for food preparation and cleanup. Our three stick free skillets allow consumers greater versatility in preparing healthier meals for today's busy lifestyles."
Chef's Classic™ Cookware is oven safe to 550 degrees. The cookware collection can go from the stovetop to the oven, or under the broiler. The cookware is also freezer safe for food storage. The cookware includes additional product benefits, such as cast stainless steel Cool Grip™ handles that stay cool for safety and convenience. The handles are riveted for extra strength and durability. The Chef's Classic™ line also features Flavor Lock™ tightfitting lids that seal in flavor and nutrients for superior results. All rims are tapered for drip-free pouring.
Cuisinart's Chef's Classic™ Cookware is dishwasher safe and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
